Collective healing is in our hands! Learn this powerful tool—inherited from a social justice movement—to bring immense well-being to yourself and your communities. Join us for our BIPOC migrant, healing-centered 5NP training in Portland, OR.
What is the 5NP?
It is a protocol—also known as NADA Acudetox—that stimulates five specific points on the ear. It is a treatment that has been used for decades to alleviate symptoms related to stress, trauma, and addiction, among others. Anyone can learn it to practice on themselves and within a community.
This training will be held in collaboration with Healing Together, POCA, and the Q Center.

Lourdes E. Hernández Rivera
Lourdes E. Hernández Rivera nació y vive actualmente en el archipiélago de Puerto Rico. Por poco más de 10 años se ha dedicado a promover la acupuntura en oreja como herramiento eficaz para navegar el trauma en poblaciones vulnerables. Su práctica en comunidades ha incluido desde la coordinación de eventos de justicia de sanación hasta la dirección de Centros de Apoyo Mutuo, una modalidad de autogestión comunitaria que rescata lugares abandonados para convertirlos en lugares de acogida para las personas necesitadas de servicios básicos, sobretodo en tiempos de desastre. Actualmente lidera el proyecto Caminando la Utopía, que ofrece Espacios de Relajación y Bienestar en Centros de Rehabilitación, Refugios temporeros y comunidades abandonadas por el Estado.

lara pacheco is a mixed race Bori Taíno, Latinx, NGC and queer mamita that holds privilege with their light skin and hetero-presenting marriage. They were the founder of Atabey Medicine-a QT BIPOC herbal program, and Co founder of Brown Girl Rise- a youth empowerment program for young femmes of color. lara is a bridge builder mystic, a sañadore, a liberation acupuncturist, a qi gong practitioner that believes part of our collective liberation is accessed through decolonizing ourselves, and weaving into the web of ancestral medicine. lara directly works through this realm with plants, fungi, puppets, music and dance.
