Community Care Circle (Virtual)
A healing space for our tender & tired hearts to be held, nourished and resourced in these times. Community Care Circles are co-held by spiritual elders, healers & culture workers based in Turtle Island and the Caribbean who offer space for our stories, grounding, care, teachings, and tools for loving up on our nervous systems, hearts, spirits, minds and bodies.

"Hope is the only good common to all human beings; those who have lost everything still possess it." – Thales of Miletus
In this circle, we will have the opportunity to reflect on what gives us hope and why it is important to embrace it during these times of collective instability. Speaking about hope will not only help us sustain a sense of gratitude in the face of adversity, but will also grant us the strength needed to persevere until we achieve what we yearn for. Join us for this session to collectively reinforce the power of hope.

June 15: Sacred Relationships: Reclaiming our Wholeness
with Dr. Patty Ramirez
Hosted by xochicoatl bello
Systems of oppression condition us to disconnect from ourselves, from one another, and from the communities we serve. This interactive workshop invites participants into a process of reclaiming our wholeness by gently examining the moments we have had to leave ourselves to survive. Through guided reflection, journaling, somatic practices, and collective witnessing, we will name what was lost, honor what was carried, and reconnect with the wisdom that emerged.

“When you take care of yourself, you teach others how to treat you.” — Rupi Kaur
Over the course of two hours, a safe space will be created where participants can pause, listen to themselves, and truly acknowledge their own presence—not out of the pressure to “do more,” but rather through the opportunity to return to themselves with greater awareness and kindness. We will focus on active listening, presence, and sharing in small groups, allowing each person an authentic space to express themselves and be heard without judgment. Through guided exercises, moments of bodily connection, and meaningful conversations, a process of reconnecting with one’s own emotional and personal needs is facilitated. This space does not seek to teach formulas for self-care, but rather to open up an experience in which each participant can recognize what they need today—and how to begin supporting themselves with greater clarity and care in their daily lives.
