Navaraj Lammichhane, MBA

He/Him

Program Assistant

Navaraj's ("Raj's") story is about hard work, luck, leadership, miracles, and compassion. When he was six years old, he lost his mother and his father left the family. Though his siblings scattered to relatives for shelter, Navaraj got the opportunity to attend school at Bright Horizon Children’s Home School (BHCHS) – a home for orphaned children in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Navaraj loves to play guitar, swim, sing, write, travel, and connect people. He is the first person from his extended family to not only go to school but to come to the US, where he graduated from Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) with a BA in Business Administration and a certificate in Professional Sales, and from the University of Portland with an MBA in Nonprofit Management. While at WSUV, Navaraj served in numerous leadership positions - as an elected student senator, a student ambassador, admissions and financial services intern, energy research intern, and NGO program intern.

As a people-person, Navaraj enjoys working with others – whether as a leader or a team player. His passion is helping disadvantaged communities gain access to resources and emerge from poverty. His biggest wish is to go to an MBA school and work for a clean energy company, perhaps eventually starting his own someday.

He supports Healing Together with social media, research and analysis of our programs, and English-Nepali language and cultural translation.
