Join us for a tender circle into the power of bringing healing to community. In a moment when our existence and our communities are under continuous attack, we invite us to gather. To hold each other. To witness and learn from each other. We invite us to bring healing to our communities. Healing to the open wounds, and the wounds of how we currently do community.
Healing Community is a humble space for us to share our experiences & strategies with what it means to build healthier, safer, more values-aligned & healing communities. We ask ourselves:
-
What are the challenges & heartaches of being in community right now?
-
What can it look, feel, taste & be like to decolonize & indigenize how we create and sustain community?
-
What do our nonhuman relatives share about what a community is and how to take care of it?
-
What could it look like to co-create communities that grow us into the wholeness of who we are and, into the work we came here to do?
-
How can we steward communities that create the conditions for all of life to thrive?

We will be working with testimony, story, somatic practices, visualizations, song, and prayer to bring healing to our own bodies as we imagine what healing our communities can look, feel, sound, and taste like. Through our gatherings, we hope to heal, nourish, inspire, and fortify each other in our practices of how we do, are, and create community.
Whether you are seeking to deepen your healing with past experiences in community, or simply connect with others holding these questions, this circle welcomes you.

May we deepen our capacity & practices to (re) imagine, reclaim, and (re)member how to care, protect & grow each other in healing and liberatory ways that will have our ancestors smiling.
