Andy Hughes

After 20+ years in the corporate business world, focusing mainly in the field of finance and corporate accounting with multinational companies, Andy left in 2020 and has transitioned to climate justice, now serving as Finance Manager at Climate Justice Alliance (CJA), supporting CJA's mission of transitioning the world from an extractive to a regenerative economy.

 

Previously, Andy served as the CFO of North America and Senior Director of Finance and Controlling during his 7 years at StubHub in San Francisco. Andy has also previously worked as an auditor for KPMG in Silicon Valley and in Berlin and Heidelberg, Germany, serving such clients as SAP, Siemens, and Daimler, and worked as Accounting Policy Director at eBay International in Bern, Switzerland. 

He is passionate about transformation from the inside out and incorporates mindfulness and coaching in his everyday work and approach to life.

A co-founder of Healing Together, Andy has been traveling regularly to Africa and Asia over the past decade, learning about the challenges and opportunities of ethical development and witnessing firsthand the transformation that is possible when local communities lead the way.

Andy graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a BS in Business/Accounting and holds a CPA in the State of California (inactive). He is pursuing his Masters in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University.

 

Andy enjoys traveling, snowboarding, playing basketball and walking with his dog Rumi.
